A goal of having financial security should start as early as when you're still at school.
Financial security is everyone's need and sometimes comes at a price
A Trend Most of us Follow
This trend that has been followed for ages…going to school, getting good grades, going to university then looking for a job. Depending what your goals are, this you can view as either positive or negative but the fact is some people have attained financial security through this trend, some without it and some have failed all together.
However for those who view this trend negatively: having education and learning to specialize in the field of your interest is a good and a secured starting point to a basic paying job. It is the first basic means of living, it also gives you financial leverage in other streams of income and opens opportunities in accessing potential investments and business networks. But a job is a road most people never get to travel and for most it’s the only road they get to travel.
Good matric results is the key component that gives leverage in building one’s future. Some people have made it though without matric but have worked exceptionally hard and paid their price along the way to get to where they are. It is imperative that one does his best in achieving good matric results.
We all know matric pass rate in this country is deteriorating (according to SA stats). You can think of various reasons attributing to that factor but the number one on your list should be the lack of morale on students to pursue their goals under any adverse circumstances they’re subjected to.
This site will demonstrate a nurturing culture of striving for a goal to a degree of attaining financial security by sharing inspirational success stories with you of people who made it (through matric, tertiary institution, corporate job, part time business/entrepreneurship and financial success) regardless of their background.
We will also provide guidance on applying and accessing financial aid schemes and bursaries for both scholars and tertiary students.
When most people get jobs they restrict themselves with just education and experience as far as their income is concerned and hardly explore their potential in other income streams.
Most feel there are in a comfort zone and have financial security which is their ultimate achievement, and there’s nothing wrong with that if a job is where your passion lies. If not than you are trapped in the rat race of expenses and working.
Now we cannot all be world class entrepreneurs but our research demonstrates that regardless of which job you are stuck in, it is possible to transform an entrepreneurial idea into a successful business with a realistic approach. Some people have done it, not by luck or through some dodgy BEE deals but through lot of sacrifice and hard work and through proven systems.
These inspirational stories are real and serve to be a motivation that manifests itself in strength, commitment, determination and impetus to overcome severe obstacles and leapfrog past typical failures.
